Well, I have had a first hand experience with COVID-19. My mum was infected in the month of May, at the time, we didn't even get a bed at the hospital as the situation was really worse. There were around 25 hospitals in and around my city but I remember that I had to call some 200 to 300 times as the helpline numbers were either busy or not working. Also, there was shortage in oxygen bed. Since, I was following what was happening in Delhi, I didn't waste time to search for oxygen beds, instead I arranged one at home (which was a miracle at the time). Also, I had a doctor friend whom I was calling for everything.

The situation was really horrifying for my family. I took leave from my office as I became the primary caregiver for my mum who was isolated at the room. Even though my mum followed every COVID protocol, still she got infected. Thankfully, she recovered and now, we all are vaccinated.
