I know and get where you are coming from. I know sometimes it can be frustrating, especially if you have a non-technical manager, and in the past, I frequently got into arguments with mine. Managers have a bigger role and huge shoes to fill. I cannot speak about other projects, but my project is a critical one where all the developers and testers have to work in sync and deliver the project before the deadline. And then, employees leave as well, whenever they feel like it. I know most of the projects in the IT industry are extremely client-centric and demand the product be delivered before time. A project manager has to work in harmony with a lot of people-from developers, testers, their managers, and the client.

I loved your article a lot as I echoed so many of the points mentioned in the piece.
