I have been thrashed and scolded by my mom as I was extremely mischievous and I believe I deserved it. But, she never did it in public. Hence, I could relate to this so much.

However, kids have become sensitive over the years. I mean, some 25 years ago, our parents would not tolerate us doing something to make them unhappy.
