I have a hot take here.

I believe when life becomes easy for some people, they start having fantasies and delusions that are beyond explanation. Furthermore, I am not saying it is true for every case. That's the observation that I think I have after browsing through these true-crime stories. Of course, some people do have mental illness, and it has been shown in Netflix's Mindhunter, but yeah, I sometimes have to convince myself that stories like these are real and not fiction.

Reality is stranger than fiction.
