Haha! To be honest, I never expected an incentive from Medium. Again, I am not a full-time writer. I do have a day job, but I love writing. For me, writing is a hobby and making money out of it is truly remarkable - whether it is $5 or $200 (my highest), I have never been more satisfied. I have never published more than 8 articles in a month. Some months, I hardly get anything. Just that, some of my programming articles (my niche) get viral because of which I earn in later months.
