A Software Developer who believes in making the world a better place by writing one code/story at a time. | Website:

It all started with an online petition by one fan, it ended up being signed by more than 170 thousand fans.

It all started on the 17th of November, 2017, the day I would never forget, when the most awaited movie of the year, well at least for me and millions of other comic-book nerds, released. I went to the theatres, first day, first show. All the hype, all the excitement, all the aspirations of watching my favourite superheroes in one movie were shattered to pieces in just 2 hours. Everyone understood the forced humour of Batman, the flash-falling-on-Wonder-Woman scene, and the bad-CGI of Superman and Steppenwolf, just cannot be the vision of Snyder.

The movie was a failure critically and…

These tried-and-tested solutions make programming efficient.

If you have been working in a software company or learning software development, you might have heard about design patterns. Well, design patterns are nothing but trial and error methods that software developers have tried over the years to solve a common set of problems.

An ideal definition would be,

“Design Patterns are sets of standardized practices that represent the solutions given by the developer community to general object-oriented problems faced in every-day tasks during software development.”

I passed the Cloud exam recently and this is my journey of how I prepared for the exam.

One of the goals of mine was to get certified in Cloud. When they said, “Everything is moving to cloud” a few years back, I didn’t really understand, but then Microservices architecture gained popularity with Docker and Kubernetes. It changed everything for me as a Software Developer. My organization started the “Lift-and-Shift” migration for the applications deployed in an on-premises environment. I developed a passion for Cloud and Cloud-Native technologies. Therefore, I started preparing for Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer Exam and got certified.

Why Google Cloud?

Google Cloud (or GCP) along with Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure form the “Big 3…

A story of Elon Musk’s ruthless strive for efficiency and excellence.

Picture of Elon Musk from Pinterest

We have all seen so many inventions that were created out of necessity by people who have dedicatedly worked to find the solution to the problem. Whether it’s electricity, an electric bulb, wireless communications, an aeroplane, or even the first-ever wheel, all were created by someone who was looking for the solution experimenting a thousand times or even observing things in nature as they were looking for a solution everywhere. Elon Musk is one such person who is changing the world as we see it.

Elon Musk is the Tesla of the 21st century, except for the fact that Musk…

Cyrus of Persia (Old Persian) commonly known as Cyrus the Great, also called Cyrus the Elder by the Greeks, was the founder of the Achaemenid Empire, the first Persian Empire. Under his rule, the empire embraced all the previous civilized states of the ancient Near East, expanded vastly and eventually conquered most of Western Asia and much of Central Asia. From the Mediterranean Sea and Hallesport in the west to the Indus River in the east, Cyrus the Great created the largest empire the world had yet seen. …

Abdul Karim Telgi was born in a small town called Khanapur, Karnataka, one of the Southern Indian states. He lost his father when he was young. Kahanapur was a fertile town. The forests had abundant fruit. Telgi’s family included his mother and his two brothers. The brothers would pack the fruits in tin boxes and cane baskets and would help their mother sell their fruits and peanuts to passengers on board trains that halted in Khanapur station. Driven by their circumstances, they were ambitious to improve their condition through education and enterprise.

Telgi paid for his education by selling fruits…

“Dissolve your ego before it dissolves your self.” — Maxime Lagacé

You might not agree with me on this but your toxic ego is a huge liability in life. Nope, this is not how I wanted to start this piece but I feel this needs to be addressed at once as ego clouds your judgement, limits your critical thinking, innovation, creativity, and capability to emotionally engage with other people.

From my personal experience, I cannot stress enough how much ego has affected my happiness. I have done things out of rage, acting foolish and it has created a dent in my confidence, made me miserable and guilty. Surely handling ego problems…

“In the social jungle of human existence, there is no feeling of being alive without a sense of identity.” — Erik Erikson

Human beings are unreliable narrators. We mistakenly think that we are painting an image of the self that corresponds to the reality that we interact with. We completely believe that our identities are unvarying, and from there, we lead ourselves towards the only logical conclusion: the need for a methodical structure that secures who we are so we can sustain this consistency.

We use the mask of specific values and moralities to draw perimeters, defining good and bad, right and wrong and we then live our lives within them, and many men and women have laid down their lives even…

“Nobody can bring you peace but yourself.” — Ralph Waldo Emerson

Photo by Candice Seplow on Unsplash

We often seek peace in external sources. Peace, which is defined as stillness, quiet, calm, lack of violence, etc. is seen as a state or concept that may be found somewhere far away from us.

Perhaps on a mountain? By a brook, maybe? In the forests amidst nature? In a yoga class? In your bed with noise cancellation headphones? Philosophers, warriors, and leaders have often spent lifetimes in pursuit of peace. Many of them still haven’t found the answer to the question, where is the peace?

The simple truth, which perhaps takes a long time to realize, is that peace…

Time flies, but memories stay hidden deep in your mind, heart and soul.

Most, if not all of us, go to reunion parties, familial homes and to the old schools and colleges that we studied in. The sight of a parent, teacher, and friends ignite our hearts with memories of comfort and joy. We all say this, “I wish I could go back to those times.” …
